Kristof has an absolutely super column taking what Bush has said int he past and matching it with the reality Bush - and his supporters - continue to ignore. Bush senior was most famous for his "read my lips" statement which later proved to be a mistake. Why do people listen to politicians - they need watching. When words and actions don't match it's time for a change. Bush is a master of telling people what they want tohear and doing the opposite - undoubted it runs in the family.
