Tell that to the dead, Mr. President

Despite Report, US Was 'Right to Take Action' Against Saddam -- 10/07/2004

Here is a man who simply doesn't have the guts to stand up and admit a mistake - even when faced with overwhelming evidence. Now - according to him - the removal of Saddam Hussein was worth any cost - and whatever happened to "we go to war as a LAST resort."

Is it better to have Saddam Hussein out of power? Of course it is. Would it be worth the honor of the US to have him out of power? Would it be worth losing most of our allies on the international scene? Would it be worth tying up most of our Army in one small , unthreatening country while North Korea and Iran fester and grow stronger? Would it be worth $100-$200 billion dollars? Would it be worth spending more per month on Iraq than we spend in the entire year on homeland security? Would it be worth letting Osama bin Laden escape? Would it be worth recruiting thousands more to the cause of the trrorists? Would it be worth 5,000 American casualties? Would it be worth the deaths of 10,000 innocent Iraquis? Would it be worth losing all sorts of international leverage?
