Cheney lied and lied and lied

MSNBC - Rewriting History

This Newseek article does a good job of dissecting Cheney's lies. The one that really got me came right at the start when he claimed that the reason for going to war against Iraq was that they were a state sponsor of terrorism. Besides the fact that Bush never promoted this as the main reason before the war, Cheney went on to cite Hussein's giving of rewards to suicide bombers as his rationale.
Huh?

Excuse me, but:

1. The president's Saudi Arabian bankers have been doing that for years.

2. Not one of the 9/11 killers was from Iraq - 16 of the 19 were from Saudi Arabia.

3. Saudi Arabian schools continue to preach a steady streem of hatred of the West to their children.

Wake up America! You're being taken for a terrible ride.

The big lie just keeps getting bigger and bigger. These folks are as programmed as Hitler's crew was when it comes to twisting the truth over and over again. The question is, will America fall victim to it - or will the word get out in time?

What scares me is the state polls and how they reflect on the electoral vote. Check out this Web site - but be warned - it changes frequently. Just a day or two ago it showed Kerry with only 200 electroral votes. Today it shows a much closer race. http://www.electoral-vote.com/index.html
