Voting in general - and in Florida - just plain scary

This stuff is so scary it's hard to believe - and once again, hard to believe that so much of the media is ignoring it. We seem to be inexhorably moving towards another election debacle in Florida and yet instead of absolute outrage, we appear mesmerized.

Somewhere I heard the suggestion that the UN should monitor our elections. I'm beginning to think that isn't a bad idea. Read Krugman's column on what is going onin Florida - and elsewhere - and weep.
