Nader seeks right-wing help

The New York Times > Washington > Campaign 2004 > Odd Alliances Form in Efforts to Place Nader on the Ballot

It's happened before - a third-party candidate jumps in bed with people whose views he opposes just to get on the ballot in a given state. And that's what Nader is doing. He's seeking - and getting - helpf from all sorts of strange bedfellows. Gosh, I wonder why a conservative would support Nader? Maybe for the same reason Republicans in several states are fighting legal challnges for Nader to make sure he gets on the ballot in their state.

Hey Ralph, can you spell "ego?" Can you begin to understand what a terrible way this is to close an otherwise brilliant career? Or is there some thread of sanity to this madness that most of us are missing?
