A Price Too High

"How long is it going to take for us to recognize that the war we so foolishly started in Iraq is a fiasco; tragic, deeply dehumanizing and ultimately unwinnable? How much time and how much money and how many wasted lives is it going to take?"

So asks Bob Herbert in the NYT today, summing up nicely the incredible stupidity of our situation. At the same time, Bush is taking baby steps towards seeking help fromt he UN. Grow up, Mr. president! You blew it big time listening to those neo-con idiots around you. But there's still some hope. Don't crawl to the UN, run to them, beg their forgiveness and help, and get us out of this mess.

You have played right into the hands of the terrorist. But it is not too late to slavage the mess you have created.
