They execute POWs!
Well, at least we think they do. Certainly wouldn't surpise me. It's absolutely horrible. I can't condemn it loudly enough. But then I also condemn our ruthless bombing. You see, I have trouble seeing the difference between murdering a helpless POW and murdering people who happen to be unlucky enough to be in (or near) a building when one of our missiles or guided bombs hits. These people are absolutely defenseless. You might as well stand them against a wall and shoot them. The antiaircraft fire has not stopped a single attack vehicle. But that's war you say. Yes it is. Horrible, ugly, and insane all around. Trying to draw nice little ethical distinctions between how you kill people and see shaded gradations of morality just doesn't cut it. Killing is killing. The people are dead forever. The killers have to live with their crime. Society has to dig its way out of yet another cycle of violence. Like nobody thought this would happen?
