Pt. Judith, RI and Massachusetts

Dear Greg,

I blundered upon your interesting website while doing some research on hurricanes. I was 14 at the time Carol hit and was living with my parents right across from the Scarborough Beach pavilion in Pt Judith.

We left to ride out the storm with relatives in Mass. When we returned there was minor damage to the homes but many trees were down. We were in the process of packing up to move to Florida so that got delayed a few weeks while we finished up the repairs. My parents owned four homes at the time and they turned them all over to a realtor after repairs were made and we headed south. I was a month late starting 10th grade in Hollywood, FL and struggled playing catchup with Geometry, Latin and couple of other courses. English was no problem as we had some tough teachers where I went to jr high ( Samual Slater). Wish I had some pics to send but dont.
