Foxy hunter

It says "Chipmunk Crossing," right?(click image to enlarge)

So does that mean he went this way?(click image to enlarge)

It was a dark and rainy day and this little grey fox - we suspect he's only a few months old - prowled around the birdfeeder some, oblivious to us a few feet away in the house. Then he vanished in the bushes near the front wall and a few minutes later came tearing out at about 100 mph, heading for the back yard. Not sure what was on those bushes. Maybe his mother just called him home. But boy he was in a hurry. (Notice no white tip to his tail - that's how we're sure he's not a red fox.)
