Allen's Neck meandering

Don and I took a hike out to the Vernal pool at Allen's Neck but saw no sign of activity there. We did get good look at a marsh hawk and field sparrow and were able to identify the song of the red-wing blackbird, robin, and whot-ebreasted nuthatch. This last was very deep for such a tiny bird.
