Lunch will be provided. Sandwiches, chips, sodas, juices. If young children need special foods please bring them. Peanut butter and jelly will be available. Please bring a small cooler if you have one to pack your picnic lunch. Bring towels, and sunscreen. For small children if you have life jackets please bring them.

Activities: 12:00 (approximately) boat rides to South Beach. Seal watching trips throughout the afternoon. Sailboat, kayak, canoe available.

Directions: BOSTON: Take Rt 3 South -Take Sagamore Bridge and stay on Rt 6. Take Exit 11 (Chatham/Harwich). Follow directions below.

Providence area take I-195 East to Route 25 via exit 22A toward Cape Cod/The Islands. Follow signs to Route 6, Exit 2 toward Bourne/Sagamore Bridge. Follow signs for US 6 - Mid Cape Highway at the rotary. You will go over the Bourne bridge and follow the canal to hook up with RT 6. You will turn right as you approach Sagamore Bridge to get onto Rt 6. Go about 30 miles to Exit 11 (Chatham/Harwich)..

From exit 11: turn Left off the exit ramp onto Rt. 137. After about 100 yards turn Left onto Pleasant Bay Road. (This is the scenic route not one that Mapquest will provide). After you cross Rt. 39, Pleasant Bay Road will end at Rt. 28, the Wequassett Inn. Turn Right onto Rt. 28 and follow to Chatham. When you come to a traffic light at Old Harbor Road stay straight on Shore Road (rt. 28 goes to the right). You will go by the fish pier, the Chatham Bars Inn, and eventually you will see the lighthouse on your right. Great place to park for a moment and look around. Go past the lighthouse but just after the lighthouse and the tennis club on your left take a left down the hill onto Morris Island Road. After _ mile bear right to stay on Morris Island Road. _ mile on the left is Edgewater Drive. It has a fence marking the entrance. #43 Edgewater Drive is the second house on the left. COME ON IN!
