The little tufted titmouse doesn't hang around the feeder much. He usually grabs a seed and runs - or flys - oh hell, what I mean is Woody had it right when he coined the phrase "falling with style." Little birds just aren't aerodynamically stable and seldom demonstrate much grace. They flit about. Still, their ability to maneuver quickly is incredible and they do move in three dimensions with far more agility than we do. Caught this guy through the window at 1/500, f 5.6 ISO400, using the 300mm racked out. If I'm going to get serious I'm going to have to develop the patience to sit outside a while with no glass between me and them.
