I'm exploring telephoto options for the Digital Rebel and a friend loaned me a 75-300mm Canon to play with, so here are some results. Sammy here was snapped through the window with lens set at 230mm and the camera at 400 ISO, 1/320 and f5 - all choices it made on the automatic "action" setting. I did some reducing and cropping of the original, but mostly this is what the lens saw and captured- no digital magnifying.
