NLCs - be on the alert!
Spacewetsher.com reports that we should be on the alert for NLCs - noctilucent clouds - over the next few days. OK. I will be. I have never knowingly seen one. If you don't have a clue what they are - and and the detqils of these bright clouds are news to me - then I suggest you visit today's spaceweather.com. (If you are reading this some time other than today simply go to Spaceweather.com and use their handy gadget on the right to dial in the date you want to view - June 16, 1007.
NASA gives great background on NLCs here.
